East Cowes is easily accessible from the mainland (Southampton) via car or passenger ferry (Redfunnel) and provides easy access to the key island towns. It is a lovely small town from which to explore the beautiful Isle of Wight with bus connection to Newport and Ryde. It is walking distance to the famous holiday residence of Queen Victoria - Osbourne House.
Shopping is not extensive but it has a well stocked supermarket (Waitrose) and a chemist.
Via the chain link ferry you can access the world famous yachting town of Cowes.
