Batemans Bay is on the East coast and surrounded by National Parks; south of Sydney and approx. one and a half hours east of Canberra and situated at the mouth of the Clyde River. The climate is mild, and while the summers are warm, they are not humid as in the north of Aust.. There are many attractions in this unspoilt area between the mountains and the sea, eg; national parks; bay & surf beaches; wildlife sanctuaries; quaint heritage villages
