Modern air-conditioned comfortable home in prestige suburb. Our home is in a neighbour friendly leafy street close to beaches, transport, shopping, restaurants, cafes and recreational facilities.

Walk 5 mins to North Cottesloe beach or to suburban train/bus stop. Transport 20 mins to Perth City central or to Fremantle. Our Cottesloe beachfront has quality cafes and bars from where you can enjoy glorious sunsets over the Indian Ocean. Walk and cycle paths run along the ocean front between beachside suburbs.

Nearby, overlooking the oceanfront is a golf course and also grassed tennis courts, both of which welcome non members. Perth has a Mediterranean climate and in summer there are outdoor cinemas.

Our home has a ground floor main bedroom with ensuite, entertainment room and open living/dining and kitchen/laundry areas. The outside living area is at the rear of the house and comprises a large paved courtyard with gas barbecue and a large fish pond/water feature. The first floor level comprises 2 bedrooms (double beds), lounge/study area and bathroom/toilet.

We have a 13 year old corgi dog, Suzie. She is very sweet and loving and likes to be indoors with us for company. Please do not request an exchange if living with Suzie is a problem for you.

Our cars are a Mitsubishi Outlander and a BMW 320i. Drive 45 mins to airports, 1hr Swan Valley, 3hr Margaret River and South West, 7hr Kalgoorlie goldfields.

Perth City, on the Swan River, offers relaxed upmarket shopping opportunities and cultural experiences. The Art Gallery of Western Australia (www.artgallery.wa.gov.au) and the Western Australian Museum (www.museum.wa.gov.au) in the Cultural Centre are both worth visiting. The Perth Concert Hall (www.perthconcerthall.com.au or Google: Perth concert hall) presents a regular programme featuring the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra. The excellent Botanic Gardens at Kings Park (www.kpbg.wa.gov.au) showcases our state?s unique flora. Wildflower displays are best viewed in our spring (September). The Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF) (www.perthfestival.com.au) is Australia's longest running cultural festival, held annually in February-March.

Fremantle, at the mouth of the Swan River, is characterised by 19th century buildings and a strong community of immigrants and artists. Italian cafes line the "cappuccino strip" along South Terrace and the Fishing Boat Harbour is a hub of eating and entertainment. The West Australian Maritime Museum (www.museum.wa.gov.au/museums/maritime) is an iconic structure which overlooks the harbour and is symbolic of Fremantle's past, present and future as a coastal city and seaport.

Rottnest Island (www.rottnest.wa.gov.au), once a penal colony, lies just 20 kms offshore. The islands entire coast is one long stretch of sandy bays and clear aquamarine water with offshore reefs and wrecks full of fish and corals.

Beyond Perth, the State's south-west has outstanding surf beaches, with a hinterland of forests and wine regions.
