Restored 100 year old workers' cottage right in town-7 minute cycle to the shops or beach The house has an open plan lounge/dining /and new kitchen opening through french doors onto a verandah on the north with a day bed and lounge. The main bedroom (Queen) opens onto the east verandah with a cane dining setting and rear courtyard. The second bedroom has a king size bed and built-in robes. The restored bathroom has a washer and dryer.There is a small TV room at the front of the house. The house is fully screened and has overhead fans.
Good cafes abound,( one over the road) and Woolworths is about 1km towards the town centre. Byron has all the attractions of the north coast-from the best surf and beaches to the rainforest and hinterland towns of Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads and Bangalow ,(only 15 minutes drive away.) Byron and these towns have regular Farmers' and general markets-great food, stalls, music and vibes.
A bit further along the northern rivers is the Regional Art Gallery in Murwillumbah, majestic Mount Warning and then all the exciting attractions of the Gold Coast, (50 minutes)
