We have two friendly and sweet beloved cats. Pet care for the cats would be greatly appreciated but not required as they can be cared for by family and friends outside of the home for extended exchanges only (i.e. a minimum of a week). If you are interested in a weekend stay, and believe that you are allergic to cats, please do not inquire about an exchange as we will not relocate the cats for a short term swap.

Our yard is also surrounded by a vegetable and flower garden in the summer. We live in a friendly, safe, quiet, and family oriented neighborhood in an affluent suburb south of Boston. Our house is located directly across from the middle school and two large baseball/soccer fields and six tennis courts. Our home is located one kilometer/half a mile from Milton Academy, Turner's Pond, Milton Hospital, public library, supermarket, post office and one and half kilometers/one mile from public transportation and wonderful upscale restaurants and cafes. The Town of Milton is conveniently situated 15 minutes by car to Boston (with no traffic or 30-40 minutes during morning and afternoon rush hour traffic!), 60 miles from Cape Cod, approximately two hours north to the White Mountains and lakes in New Hampshire and Vermont, three and half hours to Arcadia National Park in Maine, and an hour to Newport, Rhode Island. New York City is also located four hours away by train or car.

The Boston/Milton area offers the ideal New England four seasons: fall foliage during brisk long hikes in the nearby mountains, cold snowy winters perfect for alpine and nordic skiing and other winter sports in the nearby Blue Hills, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, lovely and lush springs filled with flowers, and hot summers spent cooling down at the many nearby beaches and lakes.
