We live in beautiful Carlsbad, just 4 miles from the Pacific Ocean and beautiful beaches. You can surf, swim, kayak, stand-up paddle board or rent boats all along the coast. You can enjoy Legoland here in Carlsbad, or visit San Diego with the San Diego Zoo and Balboa park just 30 minutes south. (The international border to Mexico is about 20 minutes south of that). Los Angeles, Hollywood, Venice Beach, Getty Museum, Disneyland and Universal Studios are all within two hours north. Our city has weekly outdoor concerts in the park during the summer, and we will leave schedules and directions to many local events.

Our home was recently remodeled, with three bedrooms upstairs (master bathroom has a jacuzzi tub), and a large game-room down stairs with a pull out bed to sleep two more. We have a swimming pool, outdoor fireplace and barbeque, a custom built tree house with electricity (and video games), and a park directly behind our home. You can set up croquet, badminton, or play darts here at our house.

You are welcome to use our skateboards, bikes (2), foam surfboard/beach chairs/ skim boards and snorkel gear for the beach. Golf courses are close-by, as is hiking, shopping, restaurants, and theaters. We live on a cul-de-sac with friendly neighbors.

We have two cats which will stay here to keep you company. You may have use of our car, which seats 5. Come visit wonderful Southern California as a local!
