We are a friendly couple. Diane is a semi-retired hair stylist and Carlos does international sales for IBM. We are well-traveled non-smokers, and enjoy entertaining at home, eating out, walking/running, biking, hiking, dancing, watching films and socializing with many friends in the neighborhood. Carlos is also a Triathlete. Most of the time it's just the two of us. Occasionally we may have Carlos' two daughters who are very respectful of other people's homes. We are available for travel most any time or anywhere. We enjoy traveling and the Home Exchange has added a new dimension to our lives and allow us to see the world together. We are avid travelers and love the idea of exploring an area from a home rather than a hotel room.
We have enjoyed 31 very successful exchanges in wonderful homes in Sydney, Melbourne, Vancouver BC, San Juan Puerto Rico(2), Hawaii, Tarpon Springs, San Diego, La Jolla, San Francisco, Tampa, Gulf Shores, St Simon Island (2), Washington DC, Nashville, Fort Myers, Amelia Island, Clear Water, ,Punta Vedra, Orange Beach, Sarasota, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Madrid, San Miguel Allende, Naples, Hilton Head Island, Miami, Hawaii and relish the freedom, facilities and new horizons that home swapping offers. We enjoy traveling and making new friends.
We are interested in traveling most anywhere at anytime and are open to all offers of exchange.
We'd like to offer to be hospitality hosts people and have them stay in our home, as our guest, so as to provide access to all those that want to experience all the scenic beauty that Atlanta area has to offer…in exchange for staying with a couple who would reciprocate and let us stay a few days and enjoy their part of the world.

Our home is a beautiful contemporary style house with cathedral ceilings and an open floor plan. It is located in a quite cul-de-sac in a subdivision in Sandy Springs. Our home is air-conditioned, it has 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Both levels have a mixture of tile, hardwood and carpet throughout.
Main level includes: Master suite with king bed and a flat screen TV. The large master bath has a separate shower and large Jacuzzi tub with room for two, double sinks and walk-in closets. The 1st guest bedroom has a queen bed, and the 2nd guest bedroom also has a queen bed and they share a full bath, an office w/fireplace, 2 desks, 2 computers. A laundry room, half bath, large open Living Room with a large satellite flat screen TV. A gourmet kitchen totally renovated that includes granite counter tops, all stainless steel appliances, a six burners Viking gas range. Our home is on a large, spacious wooded lot, with a two car garage on the terrace level.

Our neighborhood is in a great location and very wooded and quite at the same time. It is in a suburb of Atlanta, 20 minutes from downtown. The North Georgia Mts. (40 minute drive) offers a great "getaway" for many wonderful one day trips where you will find yourself in the awe inspiring beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The North Georgia mountains are a wonderful place to relax and explore, or to experience renowned fishing, camping, hiking of the Appalachian Trail, white water rafting, or biking.
If you love the water, we are also 30 minutes away from Lake Allatoona (http://www.lakeallatoona.com/) and it's 270 miles of shoreline. It's one of the most popular lakes in the Southeast with many beaches and marinas where you can rent a boat for the day. Lake Lanier has nearly 700 miles of shoreline can be found just 40 minutes from our home. It is the most popular lake. We have some of the world's greatest golf courses are just minutes away.
