we had a loverly time in Jeff and Vicky house in Portugal very modern and comfortable we could walk to town in 15 mins and have dinner go to the beach it was very relaxing thanks Jeff and Vicky

We enjoyed dining out, exploring the hinterland and lapping up the sunshine,

Jeff and Vicky are awesome hosts and go out of their way to ensure their guests will be comfortable in their villa. Their villa has all modern amenities; enjoyed the warmth and ambiance of the wood burning fireplace; as well as very comfortable beds. Grapefruit, oranges and lemons were in season, which we enjoyed picking from the yard and eating for breakfast. It's a 20 minute walk into Alvor, an upscale fishing village, where the people, products and services were excellent ( wine, cheese, meat, restaurants). Your cool,comfortable villa is in a great location for exploring the Algarve. We especially loved walking into Alvor, sampling the wonderful seafood and watching the kite surfing in the bay. Thank you for a memorable exchange.

Vicky & Jeff made us so welcome on our first ever home exchange. The house was superb, terrace was just lovely sitting out on the comfortable chairs looking at the amazing blue skies and enjoying the sunshine. Alvor is a quaint and interesting town and we enjoyed all the walks - on the cliffs, beach and out to the Estuary. So many other towns that were easy to get to on the bus and so interesting once we arrived. The Restaurants in Alvor with all the seafood were amazing and we certainly enjoyed trying the different dishes. Our 2 weeks there just flew by. Would certainly like to return there one day! A very comfortable, cool apartment with a wonderful swimming pool which was bliss after a hot days sightseeing. Very welcoming, hospitable hosts. Alvor is a very quaint small town with great boardwalks, beaches, restaurants and wonderful holiday atmosphere. The surrounding countryside and towns provided a good variation of historic interest, scenery and crafts and beaches.
