We had such a wonderful time staying in Carla and Roos’s home. It was warm, comfortable and inviting. A great place to come home to each day. Carla was so very helpful with all the information she provided about their home, their neighborhood and Gouda and vicinity in general. It made our time there one we wish we could repeat. Carla en Goos hebben een knusse comfortabele woning op de rand van het centrum in Gouda. Zowel te voet of met hun comfortabele fietsen is het leuk om de stad en de natuurvriendelijke omgeving te verkennen. De info om dit te doen is er zeer gevarieerd en netjes gesorteerd. We hebben genoten van hun huis waarin alle moderne comfort aanwezig is. Carla en Goos zijn vriendelijk en flexibel om goeie afspraken te maken! Voor herhaling vatbaar! Lieve & Dries

Het was heerlijk in Gouda. Het huis is gelegen dichtbij het centrum en zo is alles op wandelafstand. Lekker gegeten dankzij de vele adresjes die we kregen. De groene gordel rond Gouda is zeker een aanrader. Je kan er kilometers fietsen en wandelen in een prachtige natuur. Dankjewel Carla en Goos voor deze leuke ruil.

We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad in de woning van Goos en Carla aan de Lage Gouwe in Gouda. Je loopt zo het centrum in en er is veel te zien in Gouda. Aanrader: de Goudse glazen in de kerk, een boottochtje en een leuke stadswandeling. De terrasjes zijn heel uitnodigend en de omgeving leent zich tot mooie fietstochten (Reeuwijkse plassen, de Vlist, Schoonhoven, Oudewater). Kortom: uitstekend weekje gehad in het mooie Gouda.

The little town of Gouda, in the Netherlands, was just "the best"!! We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Carla and Goos's darling bungalow directly overlooking a draw bridge on a canal... We could watch the boats coming and going along the canal, once even seeing a wedding party celebrating with champagne toasts on their long canal boat. The home itself is very fun too. There are very steep stairs going up to the flat which we realized must be characteristic of all the three story houses along the canals. Carla and Goos clearly prepared for our stay, many items being brand new, house was very clean and well appointed, their location is only a few blocks from the impressive center of town----we loved every minute of our stay. The windmills, the bikes galore, the "Gouda" cheese, the outstanding meal we were treated to by Carla and Goos---all we can say is thank you so very much for a WONDERFUL trade. Paul and Darilyn
