Dominica and I enjoy the great outdoors and love the location we live in. Our little girl, Muireann, has just turned 7. We have traveled widely, often following our interest in climbing, cycling, bouldering and running. Dominica likes horse riding, reading and cooking amazing Indian meals. I love to potter in my garden, when there is time. Our neighbours look after our chickens while we are away. We are lucky to have space for bee hives at the bottom of the garden.

Comfortable family home, in great location in the Dublin hills with fantastic views of Dublin bay.
We have a spacious family home including: large living room with wood burning stove, 1 twin room, 1 baby room with cot and 2 double rooms both with en suite. The master bedroom has a balcony and views of Dublin bay. Our home has been recently refurbished with high levels of insulation, PV and eclectic car charging port. We have a large secluded garden, which will be maintained by a gardener during our house exchange.
Our home is in a very peaceful rural setting but only a few minutes drive to the motorway, tram to Dublin city centre, Stepaside village and supermarkets etc.
Our car is an Toyota Auris (station wagon) or Nissan Leaf. We have a bike rack that can carry 3 bikes.
We can offer use of bikes (racer, commuter and electric)

Rural location between Steapside and Glencullen village. A mix of equestrian, small holdings and forestry. Easy access to Dublin and Wicklow hills for hiking, mountain biking, trail running and horse riding, with walking trails directly accessible from house. Ireland's highest and possibly most famous pub "Johnny Foxes" is just over the hill. We have a great mountain bike park "The GAP" just a few minutes away also.
Nearest shops at Stepaside village a few minutes drive, exclusive Dundrum shopping centre 10 minute drive, tram stop (Luas) to Dublin city 8 minute drive. Morning and late afternoon/early evening bus service to Dundrum leaves from outside the house. Taxis easily available.
