Our home is located in a very scenic part of Wexford. We are nestled near the base of Annagh Hill and Croghan Mountain, which both provide plenty of wonderful walking trails. This is a very peaceful, rural area and the nearest shop is 6km away. There is a lovely, welcoming pub around the corner from us, the Gap Pub. Very friendly owners who love to meet new people. Gorey is our nearest 'big' town and it is a thriving market town, with a broad main street, lots of good coffee shops and a very nice atmosphere. There is a new cinema, a new library, a theatre and plenty shops. Several sandy beaches are within 10 minutes of Gorey. Tinahely, in the other direction, is a village with a strong arts scene with many beautiful walking trails to explore. If you would like to visit Dublin, it is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away - or you could take the bus or train from Gorey and enjoy having someone else doing the driving! The train journey runs along a lot of beautiful coastline.
