Charlotte and Philippe are perfect hosts. We were welcomed with a dinner and a succulent Far Breton made by our hosts. Guides and welcome gifts were also waiting for us. Their magnificent and huge house is decorated with great taste and their garden is worthy of a botanical garden! And best of all, it is located in an exceptional environment, bordered by the forest and the river. The overall atmosphere is very quiet, although it is 15 minutes from the first beaches and 5 minutes from Lorient. We communicated a lot with them and we greatly appreciated that they sent photos of our cats which they took care of with great kindness. Thank you Charlotte and Philippe, you have set the bar very high!

We had an excellent stay at Charlotte and Philippe house. This beautiful, well-kept architect-designed house is spacious, functional and welcoming, with lots of natural light, allowing us to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Philippe is organised as each room has what it needs, the details are carefully thought through and Charlotte grows plants of all shapes and colours to decorate the interior. The garden, perfectly integrated into the Breton nature, the woods which leads to the river Scorff and the countryside around the residence, and the tennis court directly accessible from the garden are ideal assets to spend a great holiday. The location of the house is ideal, very close to the beaches, to Lorient and to the main road which leads easily to all the wonderful places in the area. The Gulf of Morbihan, the Island of Groix, the walks along the coast... Our stay was punctuated by visits and quiet days at home where we felt comfortable. The children enjoyed the children’s bedrooms and we played a lot of board games left by the family. We also appreciated receiving regular updates on our cat Cookie who was well looked after during our absence. On arrival we were treated to a dinner and some Breton specialities. Our hosts had also left all the necessary information for the house and to visit the region, nothing was missing. We recommend this exchange, welcoming family, good communication and generous. We liked it a lot ! Thanks again.

We had a wonderful holiday with the BIDEAU. The garden is sumptuous on the edge of the Scorff that we crisscrossed by bike. On our arrival a whole bunch of delicacies awaited us. The whole family enjoyed the Lasagna dish accompanied by Breton cider. The house from the 70s is very pleasant to live in and tastefully furnished. The older children were able to play tennis and bodyboard (special thanks for Ben and Tom from Mathias and Arthur). Jules did not have time to discover all the toys and he was in heaven for 2 weeks. We had magnificent weather which allowed us to visit many beaches (Quiberon, Fort-Bloque, La Torche, Douarnenez, Tahiti etc.). We had regular news, pictures of Mina our cat and we appreciated this gesture. A big THANK YOU to Charlotte, Philippe, Thomas and Benjamin for this very successful exchange.

The house of Charlotte and Philippe is really wonderful. It’s extremely spacious, comfortable and aesthetically delightful. It is moreover located on top of a hill, so that you look down on the valley of the river Scorff while being surrounded by a large and well-designed garden and nothing but nature (and silence) for the remainder. We could have actually spent our entire holidays just in the house and the garden (or on the tennis court!), but as the river is only hundreds of meters away and the house is the perfect starting point for the nicest walking routes, we have also very much enjoyed Brittany’s lovely nature – with its typical green hills and beautiful coastline. The see and the amazing beaches were close by too, so we didn’t fail to include that in our excursions. On top of that, Charlotte and Philippe are very nice hosts. The exchange was well organised and they had arranged for a very warm and generous welcome. Our own house was also very well taken care off during our stay, which gilded the pill of having to return home. In short, an exchange with Charlotte and Philippe is really recommend!
