Our stay in Schwetzingen, near Heidelberg, was a dream. A small village close to autobahn access, among farm fields, with a vibrant downtown, and centrally located to nearby Black Forest, the Rhine river, and Frankfurt. Derek and Valeria are a friendly and generous couple, happy to share they're beautiful home. We had the honor to meet them in their village and reciprocate upon return in our home. This experience allowed us to take full advantage of the German culture and become citizens for our two week stay. Thank you!

We just completed our stay at Dirk and Valeria's home in Schwetzingen Germany. It was a nonsimultaneous exchange, so they will be coming to our home sometime in the future. It was a pleasure to stay at their home. It was very comfortable and we also had the use of their car which made our trip so much better and gave us opportunities to see more of Germany. We loved Germany. Dirk and Valeria left very good instructions and checked up that we were okay. We are looking forward to hosting them at our home when they come to Canada.

Dirk & Valeria took such care of us around where to visit and what to do in Heidelburg. Their hospitality is one of a kind that makes us feel so much at home, staying with my brothers and sisters and chatting non-stop with great beer and wine! They never hesitated to show us around famous attractions and their favorite local hang-outs just to let us immerse into real German culture. Heidelburg was our last stop before leaving Europe during our 44 days of exploring Germany, Hungary, and Austria. I have been so lucky and thrilled to have exchanged with Dirk & Valeria, simply the best you can do a home exchange with in Heidelburg! I can do nothing but recommend their home for exchangers even though I hate to share something I enjoy lest too many spoil the secret (selfish Sean). Have a nice exchange!!
