Stirling has a wealth of historic attractions including Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument (both walking distance from our home) and the Bannockburn heritage site with it's brand new visitor centre.

Blairdrummond Safari park and Briarlands Farm Park are great days out for both young and old alike.

Stirling has a vibrant outdoor sports community, where cycling and hill walking are popular. There are similarly amenities for rainy day activities such as rock-climbing, ice-skating and swimming at the Peak Leisure Centre, and a multi screen cinema and ten pin bowling alley all within walking distance of our home.

Stirling City Centre has many bars, restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes. It also has a large number of high street shops most of which are undercover within the Thistles Shopping Centre. The Stirling Arcade and nearby spa town of Bridge of Allan provide a good selection of independent retailers and boutiques.

Stirling is also served by all the major supermarkets.
