This is a 3 story lovely heritage apartment building where we have the entire top floor. It is a lovely building with views from every window, sun shining through and birds chirping all day. There is also a rooftop deck where you can sit and relax or watch the stars at night.
There are 2 main bedrooms which both have windows looking onto lovely views of the neighborhood and mountainside. Each bedroom has a Queen bed. One of the bedrooms has a hammock that can be set up for afternoon naps. The third bedroom has been my office but also converts with a single bed. There is a bathroom with a shower close to these three rooms.
The Living room and dining area, which is located on the other side of the house is large and bright. There is a small deck with a hammock extending from the livingroom. From there you can walk easily into the spacious kitchen. There is also a lovely window view from the kitchen.
The laundry room and another small room and bathroom extend from the kitchen.
There is a back door that leads to the upper deck from where you can get a 360 degree view of the area where you can see the hillsides, the neighborhoods and in the distance the famous Sugarloaf Mountain.
This place is very peaceful and an absolute joy to come back to after a day at the beach or running around Rio de Janeiro.

My home is a 15 minute walk from the beach and 10 min from the subway up the hill in a lovely and peaceful, well kept and safe neighborhood. There are views of the forest and the hills from every window. It is spacious and comfortable for relaxing and enjoying as well as being close enough to easily get anywhere in the city.
