We have had a great time at the De Rijcks house and in Leuven. On arrival we found a beautifull house. Modern, well equiped and state of the art. Their home, with a very nice garden and beautifull view on the grain fields is centrally located to do a lot of trips. Leuven is an old and charasteristic city to visit. Very suprising!!. We have been there a couple of times. The library of the university is nice and the old town hall (the tour is great) are beautifull. During the period we spend in Leuven there was a big festival going on. Because of the heat we have visited the swimming pool of Leuven a couple of times. Just by bike, couple of minutes cycling and then.... relaxing in a huge park and at the swimming pool. When visiting Leuven you have to visit Bruxelles and "Manneken Pis", what we did. Bruxelles has a nice old centre (which we also did not exptected). Also recommended is Pairi Daiza. We have never visited such a beautifull zoo. It is worth the trip! The contacts with the De Rijck famliy were perfect. Friendly and helpfull. Also recommended.

We had a wonderful time in Leuven. We enjoyed learning about the way of life in a different country, in a very family-friendly environment. Jan and Klara had left us a lovely meal to enjoy and a truly amazing collection of tourist information with many ideas on days out and things to do. Our house was spotless on our return. We had two wonderful weeks in Leuven in the heart of Belgium. From there you can easily reach many beautiful cities like Ghent, Antwerp or Brussels. The house is ideally located on the outskirts of Leuven. One is by bike fast in the city or enjoys the wide meadows and fields of the neighborhood. In the immediate vicinity is a great park with countless playgrounds and small lakes. You can go boating, walk or just linger. We met the very relaxed Belgians and enjoyed the many culinary highlights. We have been very lovingly received and had a nice contact during the exchange. Our house has also waited absolutely clean and tidy for us. We had extremely cordial and nice exchange partners. Thanks a lot for this great experience!!!

The house is big, bright and friendly, in a very convenient location to visit Belgium! Their beautiful garden is very relaxing and their bicycles were widely used to discover the surrounding areas. The family is very kind and our home on our return was perfect! Thank you!!!
