Nowadays it is just the two of us, Luk, 57, and Hilde, 56, travelling without the children. We are very bad at taking selfies ! In our home the tortoise Juul will be happy to meet you, especially if you feed him blueberries. We are nature lovers and enjoy a house on the countryside. We are delighted with a house with a panoramic view, as we often just stay at home on our holidays, enjoying being in another atmosphere and observing the environment. Only rarely our youngest daughter (21) asks to stay with us for a couple of days on a home swap.

Brugge has its cultural heritage, is a commercial centre and close to the sea and the Dutch border. Our house is in a quiet street at walking distance from the city centre.

The centre of Brugge, with all its cultural activities, musea, medieval architecture, and, of course, its shops, restaurants and cafés, are 1/2 h walking away from our house. You can also go by bike or take the bus. 20 km from our house is the sea, so is the Dutch border. Distance to other important Belgian cities : to Gent 42 km, to Brussel 100 km, to Antwerpen 110 km.

Please check our exchange preferences below. Our house is no longer adapted for small children. The garden is fenced so a dog can come along, as long as it is not to big, otherwise it might jump over the fence. In summer we have some plants in a small greenhouse.
