We are a family of five (three daughters) and have a Beagle dog. We live in the centre of the Wadden isle of Texel. We both do not own a drivers license. Therefore we move by foot, bus or bike. The North Sea is 6 km to the West, forest 3 km, Wadden Sea: 3 km to the East. We never been on holiday outside the Netherlands with our children (partially due to our lack of drivers license). We would like to trade with a family that lives near public transportservices and maybe also a bench for our dog?

We live in a terraced house, the middle one in a row of three (lovely neighbours) with our three children. We have a modern kitchen (quooker, induction, oven, modern dishwasher, floor heating downstairs) dated showerfacilities, 4 bedrooms.

Ympäristön kuvailu
Texel is a quiet, very pretty island, with unique nature and special birds. Our neighbourhood is quiet and childfriendly, just outside the charming centre of our village Den Burg. We have several playgrounds in the near surroundings. The North Sea beach is 6 km from our house, the Wadden Sea is 3 km in opposite direction. Golf is 15 km, the public (outdoor) swimming pool is 1 km.

We have lovely attractions on the island of Texel. The harbor in Oudeschild, the North Sea beach near Den Hoorn, De Koog and De Cocksdorp, a small forest section between Den Burg and De Koog. Museum Kaap Skil (about ships and labour), sealife museum Ecomare, cinema, lots of events.

There is a B&B nextdoor. Therefore, we would appreciate it if there is not to much noise after hours (or really early). However, our house is very well insulated. Since we are bound to the island during holidayseason, we only look for a house exchange once a year (or less) in the offseason.
