With our 2 teens (14, 17) had a fantastic family holiday in the house of Corine and Hans. We felt very comfortable in the house and enjoyed the lovely, quiet and safe neighborhood. As it was our first time in the Netherlands, we found many possibilities for exploring the area. We rode bikes to the beautiful beaches of Katwijk and Noordwijk and also the city of Leiden. For day trips to Rotterdam and Amsterdam we used public transport and found this easy and efficient. We also visited Den Hague and Scheveningen. Trips to Duinrell Amusement Park and the museum Corpus were also a hit. We are very happy to recommend this exchange to anyone who likes to explore Zuid Holland! Thank you Hans and Corine for your effort you put into this exchange and also for taking such good care of our home in the meantime!

Vielen Dank, Corine und Hans, für die zwei tollen Ferienwochen in eurem Haus in Rijnsburg. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, ruhig und romantisch gelegen, mitten in einem typisch holländischen Quartier, direkt an einem kleinen Kanal. Rijnsburg bietet viele Möglichkeiten, interessante und schöne Orte in Holland per Auto oder Schiff zu entdecken: die Nordseeinsel Texel, Robben, Windmühlen in Kinderdijk, Madurodam, Leiden, Amsterdam und die nahe gelegenen, riesigen Strände von Katwijk und Wassenaar. Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt in Rijnsburg und den offenen, netten Kontakt mit euch sehr.

Hans and Corine have a comfortable spacious home not far from Leiden. We easily visited numerous famous cities of European history and art, and marvelled at the phenomenon of Dutch engineering. The modern village around us was quiet and family oriented, a short distance from the seashore, and we made the most of the lovely spring weather. We are happy to recommend these members of Homelink to all others!

We had a wonderful time in the nice house! Our daughter (3) loved it too, she loved her room and slept very well and she loved to play with the children kitchen and had many more toys to play with. She loved the playground close to the house. For our baby was everything there it was fantastic! Thank you! We did car trips and bike rides and enjoyed the bulb fields - amazing smell of hyacinths and the colours of tulips. There is lots to do it is a very nice area. You arranged everything very well and with lot of experience in home changing. As well we have to say thank you for taking good care of our home.

Cycle to the shops; cycle to the beaches; cycle to the amusement park. A great family holiday in a lovely home a 15 minute cycle to the beach; and what great beaches there are. We felt at home instantly with lovely gifts being left for the kids and it is a great area to explore. Unless you have been to The Netherlands before you won't realise how intricate cycling is to their way of live but you can quite literally cycle from the door to almost anywhere and it's a pleasure due to the flatness and the infrastructure. People everywhere were very friendly and they embrace children in a way that some countries don't. Parks at Duinrell and Linnaeushof excellent. It really is an ideal location for a family holiday.
