Ellen and Wim's house is really well located in the center, but at the edge of the part where it gets more quiet, so that's pretty perfect. The house itself is lovely decorated and feels like home. The garden is huge for an Amsterdam garden, which will be great spending some time there in during summer. Thank you!

We have just returned from a week in Wim and Ellen's lovely apartment in Amsterdam. The location is fantastic, walkable into the city if you have the inclination or else a short walk to the metro or tram. The neighbourhood itself is full of life, with all you need for easy day to day living on the doorstep. Amsterdam doesn't need me to sell it, what a fascinating city! We were also able to explore some of the surrounding towns which are beautiful. We had a car but you could just as easily get to the places we visited and more using public transport. It was so easy to work with Wim and Ellen to put this exchange together. It'll definitely be remembered as one of our best. Thank you!!

Thanks so much to Ellen & Wim for their cozy appartment. The girls felt at home right away and were crazy about Cooper. We had amazing weather, and discovered lots of places through and over the water. We bought a step & pennyboard in a shop nearby, and were even more mobile that way. The area was just very calm and welcoming, with nice little bistros and child-friendly bars & terrasses. And everyday the piano has been very useful as well. Hope we can exchange for another time. Very good located house to explore different neighborhoods, De Pijp, de Jordaan, Westerpark, the aera above Het IJ... And very easy with public transport or with the bikes from Wim and Ellen. The appartment is pretty, full of music instruments, and with a big terrace to chill (in company with Cooper the house cat)! Thank you for this nice exchange that we recommand!
