Our home is in Birkenhead on Auckland's North Shore, down a long right-of-way off a main road, so it is well away from any road noise. The cedar and brick house is one of five of similar construction nestled besides the bush. We have our own excellent local community, along with the residents of an adjoining right-of-way. It nestles into a conservation zone of NZ native trees full of native birds, especially the tui. The house is on four split levels - the garage level, the kitchen, living and amenities level, the main bathroom level with two bedrooms and the master bedroom and ensuite level. The kitchen, living and amenities level has direct access to a deck area, BBQ, small gardens and artificial grassed area with outdoor furniture and umbrellas. The house includes:
* Heat pumps (aircon) in the main living area and all bedrooms
* Additionally, gas heating in the living area
* Nespresso coffee machine
* New induction hob and pyrolytic self cleaning oven
* Bose sound system
* 55" LG OLED TV
* LPG BBQ
* Outdoor electric heater

The house is pet free and we are both non smokers. We request that there be no smoking on our property.

It is a very easy place to relax, especially outside in the warm summer evenings, listening to the birds. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

We also have a three bedroom holiday home at Cooks Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula, about a 2.5 hour drive from our house in Birkenhead. Access to that can be made available at no cost, depending on its availability as it is occasionally use by other parties.

The car that is available is a petrol driven 7 seater SUV (with two flip up seats forming a third row in the luggage section for children or small adults). It has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with the usual Bluetooth and other apps.

The three bedrooms have a double bed, a queen bed and a king bed respectively.
