Our Home
7-bedroom, 6-bathroom home on three levels. Main (ground) floor includes spacious kitchen, dining and living areas, plus separate mother-in-law suite (with its own sitting room, bedroom and bath.). There are five bedrooms on the upper level, including a beautiful master suite with city views and extra-large luxury bathroom and a separate "mother-in-law" suite with its own bedroom, bath, living room and kitchenette. In the basement are two additional bedrooms, bathroom and kitchenette, plus a large den/TV room. Our home also has a large, fenced backyard that faces open space, with a covered deck that offers a view of Denver, and is perfect for enjoying in the afternoon and evening. Home includes washer and dryer, and three-car garage. Our home is very family-friendly, and we are able to include car seats and cribs if desired. We can also help connect you with our favorite local babysitters!
Our home has a lovely and airy kitchen, with refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, dual oven, gas range, etc. There is a large television in the downstairs living area, with home theatre speakers, cable TV, streaming TV and video (Roku) and CD/DVD (zone 1) player, plus several smaller, similarly-equipped televisions in 3 of the bedrooms. Wireless internet access is available. The home is equipped with central heat and air conditioning, and a gas fireplace.
Children and dogs are welcome; smoking is acceptable outside only. Several pets live in the home - we will kennel them during our travel, but the house may not be suitable for those with severe pet allergies.
Car exchange: we are open to exchanging cars so that you can tour the area easily. Public transportation is also available.
About Us
We are three adults who will be traveling with our school-age children. We have done three previous home exchanges, to England, Belgium and France.

Our home is in western Arvada, nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Our neighborhood features over 17 miles of trails for walking and hiking, and our visitors will also have access to our community swimming pool, located just 2 blocks from our house.
Our location provides easy access via car or public transportation to:

Weekend road trips can be taken to Colorado Springs, Durango, Pagosa Springs and many other beautiful Colorado locations, and to Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming), Arches and Canyonlands National Parks (Utah), or Taos and Santa Fe (New Mexico). Denver International Airport is about 1 hour away.
