We're active seniors (78 + 82) who love to travel. We've been to 35 US national parks and all over the world exchanging houses (41!), camping and with tour groups. We play bridge, enjoy museums and love discovering new places and meeting people.

Our single-family modern home is 3 stories: 1st floor is the open floor plan with kitchen and living room and fireplace. The 2nd floor has a bathroom, bedroom and balcony with a desk. The 3rd floor has a lounge chair, work table and a loft bed (not easy access so we advertise ours as a 1-bedroom home). Great views from every room. Fabulous, quiet backyard with 11 fruit trees, flowers, bird feeders, a waterfall, fish pond and places to relax and enjoy the sun.
We have an easy-to-live-with 18-year-old cat. She occasionally uses a liter box that needs to be cleaned but otherwise, she is self-sufficient with automatic feed and water dispensers (filled for 4 weeks use) and a cat door to enter and leave the house. Our daughter will come check on her if you want to travel away overnight.

Noe Valley is a community of single family homes and 2-unit Victorians. San Francisco is a city of micro-climates and ours is one of the warmest and brightest. Our neighborhood has a suburban feel but is centrally located. Walk to trendy shops, great restaurants, parks, markets and services of all sorts. Yet, in our quiet home and community you'll feel far away from the city. Easy driving and parking plus good public transit. Drive to anywhere in the city in 20 minutes or less. Several buses and a streetcar within a few blocks so a car isn't necessary.

We're in the center of the city in a residential neighborhood, just a 20 minute drive from every part of SF. Within a few minutes walk from our quiet home you'll find unique shops, lively bars, excellent restaurants, full services (pharmacy, etc), great grocery stores with organic produce, parks, hiking trails, and so much more! Buses and a street car (tram) are 2 blocks away.
