Semi-detached house in a quiet suburb of Siegen, a town of about 100000 inhabitants on the edge of the Rothaargebirge (low mountain range) and the Sauerland to the north with lots of lakes and water reservoirs (artificial lakes). Great for cycling and hiking. Also quite central for tours to Cologne or Frankfurt. Siegen is a university town for about 18000 students now and offers more and more culture and entertainment.
Our house is more than 100 years old and once belonged to the last farmer of the suburb. There still is the old barn which we use as a double garage, and a spacious garden. There is a seating area with a barbecue underneath the balcony. We also have a green house, and you can help yourself with the produce.
