Silke & Thomas answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. When we finally arrived at their home, we immediately felt welcome. The house was spotlessly clean and lovingly cared for. They had even put together a lovely welcome basket for us which emphasized the warmth of the family. The house itself is very large, beautiful and has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy bedroom and lovely living room, we felt right at home. They had even provided a few toys for our children, which the boys were very happy about. The location of the house was also perfect for us - in a quiet area, but still close to attractions and shopping. Thanks to the valuable tips and recommendations from Silke & Thomas, we quickly found our way around the region. Our apartment was immaculately clean and tidy. We had the privilege to swap home with Thomas and Silke in 2015 for 3 weeks. The spacious and nice house with very beautiful garden is well located in peaceful surrounding next to Nuremberg. There are plenty of things to do in this part of Germany and we made a lot of day trips to interesting towns such as Bamberg that is a listed UNESCO world heritage site and Rothenburg. There are many very interesting family parks in the area and the fee is reasonable. We had great days in Playmobil fun park, Zoo of Nuremberg, Tucherland, Amusement park Geiselwind, Leisure spa Atlantis and Palm Beach. We also liked shopping in Nuremberg! The home swap with Thomas and Silke was very uncomplicated. They helped us to organize the trains both to and from their home and even arranged their friendly neighbor to pick us up at the train station at Rosstal. We felt very comfortable in their house and look forward to stay in contact with our friends in future.Thank you very much for great home exchange
