We had a lovely exchange with Juliane and her family. Their spacious and supercosy home made for an excellent hub to explore Berlin. And we felt quick at home in the neighborhood grabbing our morning coffee at the wonderful cafe at the corner (where at day 2 they memorized our order!).

Die Wohnung war bestens für uns vorbereitet, 3 Räder standen uns zur Verfügung, alles war genau beschrieben und erklärt. Die Katzen hatten sich bald an uns gewöhnt und waren eine willkommene Bereicherung. Die Kommunikation mit Juliane und Jens war vorbildlich und sehr freundlich. Die beiden sind Haustauschprofis. Das Haus und die Wohnung aus der Jahrhundertwende hat wirklich Charme. Türen und Holzdielenböden sind original aus dieser Zeit! Für Berliner Verhältnisse ist die Wohngegend überraschend ruhig, man ist sofort an der Spree oder in dem schönen und weitläufigen Park des Schlosses Charlottenburg. Nette kleine und größere Lokale mit unterschiedlichster Ausrichtung sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Ebenso die Bäckerei und die Lebensmitteläden. Die Seen Berlins boten uns angenehme und abkühlende Abwechslung vom Trubel und den vielfältigen Eindrücken der Stadt. Berlin bei Brix, eine runde Sache!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your flat, it was really lovely and your warm welcome was much appreciated, the bikes were a great way to get to know Berlin and there was lots to do in the neighbourhood itself, very nice bars, walks down the river and museums to visit

We had a very nice time in your house: a lot of musical instruments, easy access to all places, Charlottenburg castle and the river just a a few meters away. Very nice indeed. Thank you for the beautiful holiday, the valuable help, the kindness and the easy communication.

We had a great non-simultaneous exchange in Berlin. Juliane's apartment is located in a peaceful and green area, next to Charlottenburg Castle. 10mn by bus to Tegel (easyjet) Airport. There are lovely walking and biking paths along Spree river leading to Berlin center (Tiergarten park is 10mn away and Potsdamer Platz 25mn with bicycle). Biking in Berlin is very safe. We enjoyed sunny weather and spent much of our stay on bikes with our 3 teenaged daughters, sometimes resting in open air Biergartens. Apartment is comfortable and luminous and decorated with taste. Juliane welcomed us warmly with sweets and delicious typical berliner meal. We enjoyed many of addresses she gave. Additionally they were good visitors at our home and left our apartment in very good condition. I would recommand her without hesitation.

Easy access to all public transport to the center of Berlin Nice and quiet neighbourhood (Charlottenburg)

Juliane and Jens made us feel welcome and at home immediately. We biked everyday in Berlin and followed also the tips they suggested. Very good location!

Siamo stati 10 giorni a Berlino in un appartamento vicino al bellissimo parco del castello di Charlotembug e vicinissimo alla fermata del bus e della metropolitana per cui non abbiamo mai avuto problemi per raggiungere qualsiasi meta. Abbiamo trovato una casa molto confortevole , perfetta e accogliente sotto tutti gli aspetti, e come benvenuto una squisita torta. I nostri ospiti hanno lasciato la nostra casa in perfetto ordine , insomma uno scambio interessante e ben riuscito
