John & Jo live 5 minutes from the town centre in a quiet lane with lovely neighbours who we met. The house was well equipped with everything you might need including a handsome Dorset apple cake! There was plenty of information and maps about everything locally as well as recommendations for places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bridport with some fantastic places to visit & excellent hosts in John & Jo.

Our Bridport exchange was exactly what was needed in the middle of restrictive travel. The town itself was a delight to stroll around, plenty of local independent shops and a plethora of choice for eating out. John and Jo had kindly thought of everything we might need, including an expert on fossils who lived next door and was happy to share his passion. The Jurassic coast and Westbay in particular were a joy. A very successful homelink.

Thank you so much for the exchange. We loved your house and felt very much at home. Everything seemed spanking new and we specially enjoyed your choice of art on the walls - the picture of the church of Santa Fosca on Torcello brought back very happy memories. I hope you found everything as it should be on your return.

Everything was perfect. Even we had the chance to meet John and Jo at the beginning and the end of the exchange. We enjoyed a lot our stay in the magnificent house and visiting beautiful places in Dorchester. Bridport is a small town-market with traditional shops, and, very near, it is possible to do lovely walks and in West Bay and the Jurassic Cost.

We visited West Tytherley with the key idea of visiting our sons in the South East - and we got this and much more. It's a wonderful area for walking and cycling, and we loved visiting the towns and villages around, and Winchester, Salisbury and Southampton which are all within easy striking distance. As flat-dwellers, we also appreciated the garden and the tranquillity of village life. We didn't meet our exchangers but felt very welcomed and would readily recommend this exchange to others.
