Welcome to the vibrate city of Hamburg and our apartment! We live in a spacious apartment in Hamburg, Alstertal, neighborhood, located in the North of the city. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a 4 floor building, 106 sqm and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bath and a big balcony and an elevator. The neighborhood is very save, quaint and green. If you love to be outdoors, but also want to be close to the city center, this location is perfect. In close proximity you will find plenty of shopping stores, (organic) grocery stores, post office, banks as well as restaurants, farmer's markets, parks and canals. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk and the subway 8 minutes or 2 bus stops. About us: I am a singer/event manager and my husband is retired manager. Hamburg is Germany's hidden secret. The city is amongst the greenest in Europe, has more bridges than Venice, ample museums and fantastic (fish) restaurants. Hamburg's harbor, Alster, and the new neighborhood Hafencity are perfect for a stroll as well as cultural exploration. The city offers an abundance of opportunities for i.e. walking, biking, canoeing, golf or tennis. We'd love to give you more info and insider tips depending on what you preferences are. Hamburg is a great destination and has something to offer for everyone, and our apartment is a great place for your holiday! If you want to head out, the Baltic Sea, Altes Land, North Sea, Berlin, and Denmark are all close by. 40 min drive to Altes Land 45 min drive to the Baltic Sea 90 min train ride to Berlin 90 drive to North Sea 2.5 hrs drive to Denmark.
