Our family consists of four people: Jasper (16), Clara (19), Achim (lawyer - 48) and Johanna (teacher - 50).
As a family, we all enjoy spending time with our friends and (extended) family. We are always interested in traveling and getting to know new countries and their cultures.

We live in a quiet part of Freiburg which was established in the 1920s. By tram or bike it takes about ten minutes to get to the city centre and we also live closely to the nature. Our house totals 120m² on three floors with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Since we are music lovers we have a grand piano. The kitchen is directly connected to our garden where we have arranged a number of inviting seating options.

Our street is mainly inhabited by families with children, but also by elderly and single people, giving it a friendly and familiar atmosphere. Our part of town is very popular due to its proximity to both the city centre (ten minutes by tram/bike) and the surrounding nature. Just five minutes away from our house there is the Dreisam, a tiny river in which you can even swim in the summer. It borders on a forest which is very inviting in terms of taking walks or going for runs. There are various other sport opportunities (tennis, open-air swimming pool, gym) within walking distance, as well as an (organic) supermarket, bakeries and restaurants and cafés, some of which are romantically situated in the forest or near water.

Freiburg and its surrounding enjoy very good public transport and all of the above attractions can also be reached by train. The closest airports are the Euroairport Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg (45 miles), Zürich (100 miles), Friedrichshafen (100 miles), Stuttgart (110 miles) and Frankfurt (190 miles).

We wish to have exchange partners who treat our house in the very same way they expect us to treat theirs. Smoking in our house is not permitted and due to allergies pets are not allowed, either.
