The neighbourhood is very quiet, we live next to the church and the city hall. Crossing the street you will find the nice and local grocery store, the best restaurant for local food and specialties (frogs !). 5 minute's walk to be in the forest, 4 km to reach a beautiful lake surrounded by pine trees, an ideal area to have a picnic, go biking or even fishing! There's a city 5 minutes away by car where you can find all you need, supermarket, local producers' market twice a week, cinema, library, swimming pool, etc. During July a street concert every Friday is organized on the market place. There's also a beautiful church and 2 medieval castles, in September, there's a big medieval weekend with lots of activities. This city of Saint Symphorien-sur-Coise is classified as one of the best French detours and is on Saint Jacques de Compostelle's path.
