Hi! Let me introduce -- Mike, the music industry's master engineer, and I, the entrepreneur's operational guru. Oh, and let's not forget our charming 13-year-old daughter, who's just itching to explore the globe alongside us.
As passionate travellers, we're on a mission to show our daughter the wonders of the world. We thrive on the thrill of meeting new people, indulging in delectable wining and dining experiences, and immersing ourselves in vibrant cultures. In fact, we've had some incredible adventures already (check out our travel tales at http://simmiandmiketravel.blogspot.com/) but we're hungry for more.
Our daughter is a language maven, currently honing her skills in French immersion. So if we stumble upon a chance for her to put those linguistic talents to good use, you can bet we'll be celebrating with croissants and a high-five!

You'll love our cottage-style home in the city. Our home is located at the end of a picturesque tree-lined quiet cull-de-sac. We are at the base of Mt. Tolmie and minutes from the local collage and University of Victoria.
We live on a large $14,000 square foot lot. Our backyard is home to deer, hummingbirds and even the occasional owl. For kids we have a small zip line, playhouse, trampoline and climbing dome while adults can relax on our large private and sunny deck.
We have a large home. Approx 1500 square feet of living area on the main floor. Our master bedroom contains a queen-sized bed and a walk out patio. The second bedroom contains bunk-beds with two single sized beds. Although the second bedroom is a kids room, adults can fit in the beds.
The large living room boasts ultimate comfort with the oversized couch and chair. There's also a lovely sitting area by the bay window which streams in lots of light during the day. The home has an art and crafts room just off of the dining room.
Grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants and a mall are all walking distance.
We have a parking spot available for a car.

We live in a quiet, tree lined neighbourhood.
The local bus going to downtown is a 2 min walk from our house. Downtown is less than a 10 min drive. We have lots of bike lanes around the city, so biking to downtown is also a very feasible option given our location. Bike rentals area available in town.
Victoria's climate is lovely in the summer. We don't get extreme temperatures because we are situated near the mountains and the sea, so our summers are extremely pleasant. We have a large number of beaches in and around Victoria. The closest beach is less than a 10 min drive. The Royal Victoria Yacht club for those who enjoy sailing is about a 7 min drive.
Grocery and liquor stores are walking distance, as are coffee shops and a shopping mall.

From our house it is a short walk to coffee shops, a shopping mall, Mt Tolmie. The beach is also a short drive or bike ride away.
