Montreal (1642) is one of the oldest cities of North America with Trois-Rivieres (1634) and Quebec (1608). Montreal is also the biggest French city in America. These three cities are surrounded by many historic sites to discover Canada History and the way of life of the first inhabitants. In July and August, several festivals and a lot of cultural activities occur in Montreal, Quebec and Trois-Rivieres.
Trois-Rivieres is on the St-Lawrence River shore between Montreal (130 km by highway) and Quebec (120 km by highway), near Mauricie National Park, the second most beautiful park of Canada (70 km mostly by highway).The National Park offers camping, swimming, fishing, walking/hiking and boating facilities. Near our houses and in city centers, you can find cafés, restaurants and shops. At Trois-Rivières, the city center is 5 to 10 minutes by car.
