Our home is located in the historic center of Vignale Monferrato, a few meters from Palazzo Callori and the main square of the villlage, on top of a hill from which you can admire the panorama of Monferrato, a landscape included by UNESCO as a world heritage site. The area as well as for its beauty, is well known for the quality of its small restaurants, genuine food, wine, cycling and walking. Vignale has also been home to an international festival of contemporary dance for years, and perhaps for this reason we decided to call "home of the dancer" the place where we live many months of the year.
The house has a size of 125 square meters, and is located on the fourth and last floor of a building built in 1900, Palazzo Motta. It is a historic building, so the staircase is original, and no elevator has been added. Our home has been recently renovated with simplicity and taste mixing traditional and modern furnishing elements, with a color palette ranging from the traditional brick of the ceilings, to the many shades of gray present in the various rooms of the house. Entering through the door you are in a corridor that leads to the first room, on the right, where you access the living area, with two sofas, a bookcase, a table for lunches, dinners and breakfasts, a latest generation television, with netflix, amazon, disney and other channels available to guests, a bluetooth speaker to listen to music and relax. The living room leads to another room, the kitchen, perfectly equipped for long stays. The second room instead, in front of the living room, has been designed with antique furniture, including a vintage sofa, a sewing machine and a chest of drawers. In the room there is a beautiful painting with the dancer who gives the name of the house and a yamaha piano vertical tuned available to guests. The first bedroom has two beds 100 cm wide and 200 cm long, with new and comfortable mattresses just purchased, as well as a desk for working, a chest of drawers, and a very large wardrobe. The double bedroom, with brick ceilings, is the part of the house that we prefer, with an original vintage bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers built by artisans of the area. Also for this double bed the mattress is very comfortable. Finally the bathroom, also recently renovated, with a shower and a bidet.
The house is equipped with wifi available to guests, washing machine, and dishwasher. There is a terrace overlooking the inner courtyard, a parking space available, and space for bicycles and motorcycles.
