Finally, 2 years later than originally planned (due to Covid of course) we finally had our exchange. When I left after a lovely stay and closed the door I felt homesick already. Maires house is just absolutely magic. The view on the ocean and the green hills dotted with small herds of cows and sheep is changing all the time. The huge garden, maybe compound is a better description, is magic, with a real stone circle (dotted with blue bells when I was there), several vegetable gardens and fruit trees. Frankly I stayed in a circle of about 25 kilometers around the house because all the beauty of Kerry is so near. The choice of several wonderful beaches, the Kerry Cliffs, Bolus head, the villages, the green hills. It was lovely to Meet Stephen en Maire finally IRL after chatting for 2,5 years and just getting to know each other via Whatsapp really. Thank you so much for the wonderful exchange and hospitality, and if you want to do a bit more exploring in Holland; I'm always in for another exchange cause I fell in love with Fermoyle!

La maison et le jardin sont très beaux. La situation exceptionnelle. La pièce de vie est orientée au Sud en direction d'ilots qui portent de droles de noms: Cow, Bull Rock... La lumière change de minute en minute, les paysages enchanteurs. Pleine nature avec des moutons au bord de l'Océan. Vacances de rêve.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Maire and Stephens home as everywhere you looked, there was a view of mountains. There was lots to see and we went to Valencia Island, Dingle peninsula, Slea Head, Waterville, Sneem and Derrynane House and swam at the beaches. We also enjoyed homegrown fruit and vegetables from the garden. We were comfortable and felt at "home".

We loved the experience from start to finish and Maire's lovely welcoming presence when we arrived made it feel all the more welcoming. If you love nature, spectacular views and a comfy welcoming place to stay this is the place for you. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if we got the chance.

Loved our visit to Maire and Stephen's home in beautiful Kerry. Marie and Stephen welcomed us with a dinner and catch up the night we arrived and left early next morning as agreed. There information folder was a really well laid out and thought out information pack and served us well. We loved their home, their views and the many beautiful beaches, walks and spectacular scenery in their area. Would happily do it all again. Thank you folks.

We had a wonderful time at Mairie and Stephens home in Ireland. It was so comfortable and a great location to explore the south west of Ireland. They made us feel very welcome and we are ever grateful........

Our visit was perfect - the scenery is jaw-dropping, the home is so comfortable, the endless vegetables from the garden were a lovely bonus - and Maire & Stephen were so generous and welcoming. I could have sat forever in the garden watching their sunsets!

Our Exchange with Maire and Stephen at the Kerry oneninsula was perfect ! A very warm welcome with a delicous common meal, and we could use all the vegetables, potatoes and tomatoes from their beautiful garden. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour ,dans leur belle région.Leur maison est très confortable;la véranda ,plein sud,permet de contempler les montagnes ,la mosaïque des pâturages ,et au loin ,l'océan et les îles. Nous avons profité des légumes et herbes de leur beau jardin ,paisible et très original. A proximité ,pubs agréables ,avec de la bonne bière et de la musique .
