Wir haben uns wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Bei unserer Ankunft war alles ganz sorgfältig für uns vorbereitet. Für Essen, Trinken, schöne Blumen und vielen Informationen über Groningen und Umgebung war gesorgt. Vor dem Austausch und während dessen konnten wir schnell und problemlos über whatsapp kommunizieren. Das Haus liegt besonders ruhig und dennoch sehr zentral. Es war ein Vergnügen mit dem Fahrrad alles zu erkunden. Groningen ist durch seine vielen Studenten eine junge, sehr lebendige Stadt. Besonders das Museum und das Forum waren unsere Highlights, aber auch die vielen Cafés und Kneipen. Zurück in Hamburg war unsere Wohnung tiptop. Danke Annet, danke Herman!

Dear Annet and Herman. It was a very pleasant stay. Thank you for your welcome, for your kind attentions, for your rich and varied information. Your comfortable house is very well located, close to the centre but in a quiet and peaceful environment. In the beautiful student city of Groningen, we particularly enjoyed walking along the canals, admiring the historic houses, visiting the museums and the recent impressive Forum. We loved our bike rides, a great walk around the Paterwoldsemeer and a beautiful sunny day on the beautiful island of Schiermonnikoog. Thank you for all of this and thank you for our sparkling house on our return. Kind regards.

Annet and Herman took care of our home, plants and cat while we were traveling. The communication before as well as during the time was pleasant and easy. It was lovely coming home and finding fresh flowers and cookies on the table, a tidy and clean house and a happy cat. We would always exchange homes with both again or have them look after our home. All we can say now is "Thank you for everything!"

– from the initial approach to the exchange of information. We appreciated the house of Annet and Herman very much, it is very comfortable and fondly furnished. The beautifully planted small garden was our “island” after our strollings and excursions. Within 10 minutes we got to a large park with likeable cafes and restaurants, within 15 minutes along the picturesque “Gracht” we reached the vital historical center. Thanks a lot for taking care of our terrace plants, you were really very brave during this June’s heat wave in Vienna. Lets stay in contact for a further swap!

Siamo stati molto soddisfatti per questo nostro primo scambio . Avevamo un po' di timore e di incertezza, ma Annet ed Helmut ci sono stati molto vicini, anche se non ci siamo mai incontrati!.. Groningen è la città ideale per visitare il nord dell' Olanda, molto affascinante per i paesaggi sul Mar del Nord , per le ventose e bellissime isole e per i pittoreschi piccoli paesi dell' interno! Con affetto ringraziamo i nostri amici olandesi per questo interessantissimo viaggio !

We had a very nice time in the comfortable house of Annet and Herman. Groningen is lively and charming city to stroll around and to visit the beautiful Groninger Museum. We felt very welcome in their home, every was perfect and clear.
