I am a University Professor and Jacques is retired.
We are both outgoing, kind and well-traveled.
I have lived 2 years in Calcutta, India and 1 year in Beijing, China.
Jacques has spent 6 months in Rome a few different times as well as living in Israel for 6 months.
His dream was always to live in Paris....My dream is to continue teaching and mentoring, hoping to make a positive impact on our world.
We are both very respectful of others and would leave your home as good (if not better) than we found it!
We do not have any desire to return to the USA anytime soon...Focussed on France as well as other parts of Europe.
We already have people staying in our home 4 different times in 2023...and that is the max for us (We love living in Paris)

We have a 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of Paris!
1 shower room and 1 toilet
Large kitchen (by Parisian standards) as well as a combined/attached living room and dining room.
We have a lovely little balcony and just bought new furniture for it (July 2018) We have been eating most of our meals out on the balcony as it is so relaxing! (a table and 2 comfortable chairs).
Elevator within building (We are on 3rd floor)
We keep a clean, uncluttered home (for the most part) and want you to feel like home...

This is an excellent location in Paris.
It's only a 6 minute walk to Luxembourg Gardens and 15-20 minute walk to Notre Dame!
Very close (3 minute walk) to great transportation (RER B, and excellent bus lines!)
There is a wonderful boulangerie, grocery store and cafes, etc within 4 minute walk...

Notre Dame, The Pantheon, Cluny Museum and Luxembourg Gardens are all walking distance.
You can get to all the major museums (Louvre, Rodin, D'orsay, etc easily via metro, RER and/or bus.
We really have a wonderful bus line and the RER makes transport a lot quicker.
I have the Restaurant cards of my favorite places to eat....I leave this and other useful information for my guests. (I created a very helpful guide in August 2018) with a lot of specific information to help you with metros/buses, restaurants, etc as well as specifics about the home so your stay can be easy, comfortable and stress-free!)
