Kodinvaihtoon tarjottavan kodin kuvailu

Large living room (40 m2), 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms.
Buses and taxis are in front of the door, to get to the city center and to the three beaches of San Sebastian (10-15 min. by bus, or 35 min walking along the river).
It is a fully furnished apartment for 2 adults and 2 children. We speak French, English and Spanish.
Bus or walking or taxi are the most convenient way to visit the city, and the apartment is very well connected by bus (every 10 minutes to the city center and the beaches).
The living room faces the street (with noise insulated windows), the bedrooms are on the patio and courtyard side, very quiet.
It is our second home, but with wi-fi internet and a large TV screen (with Spanish and French channels).
The best airport to use is Bilbao, and a train station linked to Bilbao is 5 minutes walking from the apartment.

Ympäristön kuvailu

Very lively neighborhood, with all shops (and supermarkets) in the street, at few meters.
Library, swimming pool, covered ice rink at 15 min. walking.
The city of San Sebastian is very compact, it is easy and pleasant to walk along the river, the beaches, the streets.
The 3 great beaches of San Sebastian (the beach for surfers is always spectacular) are within 15 min. by bus, 30-45 min by walk.
San Sebastian is the most popular city of Spain, lively (bars / restaurants all animated), especially in the northern part of downtown (but very noisy at night, so we have chosen to live and sleep in a quieter zone, the south of the city).
The car is almost useless downtown (parking is expensive, but there is free parking at 10 min by bus, where you can let your car one or two week if you like).
Bilbao town is very accessible, by train (the railway station si 15 min by waking from the apartment).

The best activity is really to go to the beaches, with 3 magnificent beaches of San Sebastian including the surfer's one (it can be an opportunity to learn to surf for teens, they love that).
The heat is not overwhelming which makes walks along the water lovely. Naturally, it's the Atlantic Sea, the water is cooler than in the Mediterranean Sea, but the waves and the tide make it very pleasant.
A lot of activities are possible: sports (swimming, surfing, cycling, walking on the surrounding hills and mountains), cultural (libraries, Kursaal Auditorium, outdoor concerts, jazz festival, fireworks festival, carnival, semana santa, etc.), shopping (numerous shops everywhere), leisure (aquarium, amusement park, boat trips).
Other beaches are also accessible by train or bus, such as Lekeitio, Hendaye, Saint Jean de Luz, Biarritz, Portugalete, Santander which are also interesting to see.
Bilbao, if you want to see the Guggenheim museum, you can go by car (1 hour) or better by train (station is 5 minutes walking from the apartment)
