I'm a retired business communications consultant and instructor, immersed in creative writing and learning to play bridge -- exercise for both sides of my brain! I love longer exchanges where I can be a tourist part of the time and use the rest as a writer's retreat. Occasionally, a friend or my sister will join me for the tourist segment of my stay. I've enjoyed stays in France, Spain, the USA and Australia. Looking forward to visiting more countries in the future.

Spacious 1100 sq. ft. (102 square meters) condo with 2 balconies in the heart of Vancouver: Five minutes to the seawall for walking, jogging, or cycling, 10 minutes to shopping, theaters, dining, 15 minutes to Stanley Park, thirty minute drive to the local mountains and buses are available. Many options for outdoor recreation & entertainment. Public transportation outside the door. This unit was a two-bedroom but has been renovated to make a large, open living area with one large bedroom. Sorry, it only sleeps a couple, but does have an inflatable mattress if needed. Davie Village in the West End of Vancouver is an eclectic collection of restaurants, coffee shops, beaches, bike lanes, and of course, Vancouver's famous seawall, which circumnavigates the city core. Granville island, an artists' paradise, is across False Creek and easily navigated by ferry boat. The entertainment district is 10 minutes away and major shopping 15 minutes.
