Melanie and I both work for the NHS. We love art and culture, and need time to relax away from the pressures of work. We have 5 adult children and some of them may want to come travelling with us.

Kodinvaihtoon tarjottavan kodin kuvailu
1920s farm cottage totally renovated 7 years ago, with new kitchen, underfloor heating, new floors, roof, bathrooms, plumbing and heating. We have fast BT Wi-Fi at 45MB/s. While the house is effectively new it has retained its cottage-like quirkiness. The 3 bedrooms are doubles, the master has a super-king size bed and en-suite shower room. There is another bathroom on the first floor and downstairs toilet, utility room with washer/drier. The kitchen has a dishwasher and 2 bean to cup coffee makers. The Living Room is cozy and has a large smart flat screen TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Outside there is plenty of parking (up to 6 cars) and a 2 person kayak. Our family is grown up now so the house does not cater for young children in terms of its contents, but there is a cot available for use if required, and as above - the Wi-Fi is excellent! The garden is great for sitting out, with a large patio with seating, and a pergola and more seating to catch the late afternoon and evening sun. We have a cat Russell who lives in the shed.
There is also a 7KW charger point for electric cars, and a 10KW solar system. There is a cinema in the new summer room with KEF surround sound.

Ympäristön kuvailu
We are one of the original houses (along with the old Farmhouse). There is a new estate opposite but the age of the property means that we are surrounded by mature trees and shrubs and so feel separate to the other houses. The neighbourhood is in a more exclusive part of the town, and is very quiet. The residents on the estate have access to Duporth beach, which is private for their use and is a 5 minute walk away. The historic port of Charlestown is only a 10 minute walk, and has many nice places to eat.

We are 5 minutes walk from the private beach at Duporth, alternatively there is the large sandy beach at Carlyon Bay which is 10 minutes drive, or 40 mins walk on the Coast Path. We are just 10 minutes walk down to the historic port of Charlestown, which is well known as a film location for many period dramas including the BBC's Poldark series.
The Eden Project is just 15 mins by car. Lanhydrock House is a well known National Trust Stately Home at 20 mins drive, and well worth a visit.
