Fife is a good touring base and also within easy reach of the cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth and Dundee. We are about 1 hour from Edinburgh airport and 2 hours from Glasgow airport. Numerous world class golf courses within easy reach including The Old Course, St Andrews, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie. A golfers paradise! We reckon there are more than 15 excellent courses within 30 minutes drive. We can even lend you golf clubs! If you prefer to watch the experts there are various tournaments held locally including The Open in 2015. Or come and see the celebrities play alongside the professionals in the Dunhill Championship in early October every year.

For the more active we have tennis courts in the village and a water sports centre in nearby Elie or you could try kite surfing or sand yachting in St Andrews. There are also opportunities for horse riding in the countryside.
