From our home, it is less than a 5 minute walk in both directions to bars and restaurants. There is a lovely bistro right next door and a traditional bakery (award winning pies!) across the road. The bus stop to either the city centre or The Shore area, are less than a minute walk. The bus stop is also one of the stops for the hop on/hop off Majestic City Tour Bus. Ocean Terminal is a 15 minutes walk away and offer shops, restaurants, cinema and restaurants. The Royal Yacht Britannia is moored here and you can go aboard and enjoy a tour. There is an indoor climbing centre (Alien Rock) within a minutes walk, Starbank Park with lovely sea views 2 minutes away or for a larger park with playgrounds and access to the city wide cycle path network, Victoria Park is a 5 minute walk away.

There is a 24 hour Asda supermarket in one direction and a smaller Sainsburys local in the other, both about 5 minutes walk.
