Our home is located some 200 meters from the harbour, from where direct access to the ocean is available by boat, ferry or Kayak. We have Kayak's available, should people wish to use them. There are more than 100 independent shops within walking distance, plus two large supermarkets. There is a cottage hospital, doctors's surgery, dentists, optician's etc. There are tennis courts, cinema, parks, swimming pool, squash courts, gymnasium, museum, rugby, football and cricket clubs all within 5 minutes walk.

There are numerous restaurants, bars, and pubs. Cuisine including, Mexican, Indian, Turkish, French. Plus nearly every pub and restaurant serves local seafood.

Paddleboard rental is available on the harbourside, with bike, boat, surfing etc, all available nearby.

Nearby are Dartmoor National Park (approx 15 kilometres) and the major cities of Exeter and Plymouth (approx 60 mins and 45mins drive respectively).
