We live in Eastcote, in the borough of Hillingdon. The tube station is a five minute walk from our house and you can be in central London in 30 - 40 minutes. A favourite of mine is coffee in Kensington Gardens then a walk through the royal parks to Westminster then home again in the tube. Or perhaps a relaxed visit to the wonderful Victoria and Albert museum.
The ancient city of Oxford is an hour's drive.
Our street is quiet but the high stree is close and we are well served for
restaurants. Plenty of pleasant walks locally.
