From our house it is a short walk to the train and busstation. We have a fantastic bakery Koelen, a big nature park (Platweiers) and a lot of bike and walking tours (https://www.visitlimburg.be/en/cycling). In 5 min you are in the center of our wonderful city. There you can find a lot of top restaurants, a lot of special biers and Belgian chocolate. We are very well situated in the country and in Europe. In 30 min you are in Maastricht (Netherlands) and Aken (Germany) two beautiful cities in other countries. The capital of Europe, Brussels is 45 min by Car. In the south (30 min from our house is Liege) of the country the people speak french. That region calls Les Ardennes and you will find small mountains and lot of woods. By Ryanair you can find very cheap flytickets to see the rest of Europe. https://www.ryanair.com/us/en/. Barcelona in Spain is a 2 hour flight.
