In 30' walking or 15' cycling you enter the historical and bustling centre of Ghent. A direct bicycle path near the house is a safe and quiet way to make eather your displacement to Ghent. Ghent is a medieval town who's kept is authentic atmosphere. Lovers of historical buildings will find their pleasure in small churches or a gothic cathedral. Lovers of musea have plenty of choices: art, modern art, history, design, industry and archeology,... In our house you'll find all the information you need.
One tip: you can explore the historical city by kayak.
In a range of 7 km there is sport- and recreation park called 'Blaarmeersen'. In the centre of the park you'll find a pond with a beach for a relaxing day. For the sporty types you can play tennis, squash, climbing facilities, mini golf, or just a good run around the pond.
The central station of Ghent is ideal located to visit other beautiful cities in Belgium (Bruges, Brussels, Antwerp).
