Our immediate neighbourhood is very quiet and safe - but also close to a number of great cafés, bars and restaurants. My daughter is a big foodie and has a lot of good recommendations (info in our guest book!)
We live very centrally - 2 minutes away from the Arts-Loi metro station, 5 minutes from our local tram and bus stops, 5-15 minutes away from the Central Station and a very short walk to the downtown (less than 15 minutes).
We are right next to the Royal Park, which is lovely for a walk or a run, and also has a children's playground.
There are several smaller supermarkets nearby and our nearest big supermarket is accessible by metro ( three stops).
We are close to both the Avenue Louise and Rue Neuve shopping districts, as well as a 10 minute metro ride to Woluwe Shopping mall.
