This resort villa is truly a delight to live in and we welcome exchanges from anywhere in the world whom we know will be looking for this home away from home.
Once name is registered with the manager of the resort, you become a welcome guest who may use all the facilities except the gym as you need an induction - members only insured. Palm Lake Beachmere Bay is an over 50's, therefore no children are welcome unless Granddad and Grandma are with them and it is school holidays.
The golf course, golf simulator room, swimming pools, sauna, ten pin bowling ally, tennis courts, pickle ball, bowls green, darts & billiard room when not in competition are free to use. Restaurant and bar is beautiful and can be arranged for dinners if you give prior notice. You can use the bar anytime you wish and at $2.50 a glass of wine, why not?
There are many species of birds breeding around the three lakes in our complex. Walks can take an hour or two if you want to stretch your legs.
Bribie Island is a lovely beach resort with an ocean side and a bay side to bathe, and is only 20 minutes away. You can walk to the ocean that is accross the road from the resort but it is not as beautiful as Bribie Island - ocean side.
We also recommend a day visit and a 20-minute drive to the famous Steve Irwin's "The Australian Native Animal Zoo and Crocodile farm. The local shops are all you need and there is also a hotel less than 15 minutes walk away.
