We live Mumbai, India and work at the American School of Bombay. John is the Elementary Principal and Alison is the School's Director of Health, Wellness and Nutrition. We have two children, 24 years and 18 years but most of our travels are now just the two of us. We own a beautiful treehouse in Byron Bay. It's a separate dwelling managed by a resort. This gives access to a pool, gardens, gym, sauna, etc. Our house is a 5 minute walk to the beach through a national park.

Our Treetop home is connected to the Oasis Resort, Byron Bay. Our house features two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a loft style lounge area that sleeps two additional guests on a pull out sofa bed. The bedrooms are air-conditioned. There is a large deck with a private spa/hot tub, outdoor seating, and views of the Pacific Ocean. You can see the humpback wales migrating from our balcony! We have set aside time in the months of February, March, June, July and August for Homelink guests.
The resort is situated on 6 acres of natural bushland bordering the Arakwal National Park, with Tallows Beach a picturesque ten minute bush walk away. The Oasis resort has a great 18 metre heated pool, sauna and spa, children's wading pool, floodlit tennis court, and gym all set amongst lush tropical gardens.

Byron Bay is a coastal town in the southeastern Australian state of New South Wales. It’s a popular holiday destination, known for its beaches, whale spotting, surfing and scuba diving sites. Our home is about a 12 minute walk from the main part of town where you can find many restaurants and bars, a wonderful surf beach, and feel the seaside lifestyle. Byron Bay is also home to a number of weekly markets and festivals throughout the year.

Along with the beach lifestyle and associated activities, a day trip to the hinterland, a drive along the coast road, or a meal out any of the numerous local restaurants can make for a great holiday. Known for its alternative lifestyle, markets, and regular festivals, Byron Bay can give you an active holiday or a very quiet one, sitting on the deck of our house or soaking in the spa.

As our house is part of a resort, there are a few standard resort rules that apply. Should you stay, you will check-in as a regular guest, have access to all the resort facilities, and be able to ask the reception staff for assistance like any other guest. You will be billed ONLY for the end-of-week cleaning so that our next guests enter the property as you found it.
