  We had the lovely opportunity to visit the Maritime provinces of Canada in the fall of 2015. We exchanged with a couple near Moncton, New Brunswick, who also happened to have a cottage in the Gaspe area of Quebec. From the minute we met our exchange hosts, we felt at home and at ease with them. Upon arrival at their cottage, we were treated to a feast of fresh east coast lobster. And when we arrived at their home near Moncton, we had notes on the area and brochures that directed us to special sites. This exchange experience has enabled my husband and I to meet and keep new friends in Canada. We know that very soon we will be inviting them back to our home on the west coast.
