• Pineapple, chocolates, wine, more chocolate!

  Kathy & Chris made us most welcome, even collecting us from the airport and providing superb local produce including the obligatory pineapple and chocolates! Their apartment was so central we were able to walk to all the main areas of interest (except Pearl Harbour) and their car was ideal for travelling further afield, including Waikiki which was only 15-minutes away. Unfortunately for Kathy & Chres they arrived in Nelson during a wet spell and I feel so sorry for them because they didn't see the area at its best. However, our house and car were left clean and tidy (as I knew they would) and they also left us with more Hawaiian chocolates! Yumm!

• Great Exchage

  We had a great exchange in Oahu. The home was lovely decorated in a beautiful area. The location was perfect for easy access to China Town or 'Iolani palace. Also easy access to the home from the airport. Kathy and Chres were perfect hosts, we enjoyed meeting them and hope to keep in touch in future.
